"Delusion in Death" is another very good book in this series. This time the novel was plot driven, but still we got some beuatiful and emotional moments between Eve & Roarke, Exe, Roarke and Summerset, and Eve & Peabody. The balance between the investigation and the personal relationships was once again just right.
The case is a gruesome one. Over 80 people were drugged and that made them kill each other. Eve knows that the murderer is already planning his next move. The first three quarters of the book were pretty much perfect. The murder was thrilling and dark, and the motive was not that clear. I thought that the conclusion of the case was not as thrilling as I expected it to be, but I don't really know what I was missing. There is a nice surprise in the investigation towards the end of the book, but for me it was not a huge surprise.
All in all this was another gripping and entertaining book in the series. I'm already excited for the next one.
